This image is a composite photograph of the Milky Way over the 3 Apostles deep in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness of the Sawatch Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. These interesting little pools were discovered along a hike to an unnamed lake. It's fun to explore places that few people go.
