Sunset on Trail Ridge Road - Mountain Photography by Aaron Spong
Last light hits Longs Peak and the other high peaks of the Continental Divide as viewed from high up on Trail Ridge Road the opening weekend in June. This was such a heavy snow year that the road didn't open until after Memorial Day. This was the latest the road had opened in over 30 years! The road itself is visible in the dark foreground of the image.
