Artist's Description

This acrylic painting of fishermen on a dock is from Dore Lake in Saskatchewan, Canada. My family would drive from Colorado to Canada to catch big northerns and walleyes. One night the walleyes were feeding in close to the dock and a few of us started catching them like crazy! Apparently, walleye see very well in the dark and usually feed in the low light of dawn/dusk. Soon we were joined by others. The low light seen in this painting is what the lake looked like near midnight in June due to the long days in the far north. Fine art by Aaron Spong.
